Hi, am I able to get more upload quota? I went to do an update tonight and can't get any more pics on, all the pics I upload have been shrunk. Or is there another way I should do it?

You need to use a photo sharing site and link your pics, most use photobucket (well me) but other photo sharing sites are available.....

Imgur is what i use now. Much quicker than photobucket. Takes seconds to sign up and you just click and drag your photos from the folder to the upload box on the Imgur website and click start upload.

 

Once complete, you just copy and paste the image codes directly into the text box here on the forum

Thanks guys, this is what I was thinking I'd need to do. I use google drive now for backing up pictures so I'll see if that can do the same, cheers.

I've tried the Imgur app but can't seem to suss it. to be honest I'm not sure what the code is, I remember doing it on photobucket but that told you what the code was but I've tried dragging several codes onto the text box on here but all I get when I check it on a post preview is the same code but no picture. Please help the stupid!

This is the only thing that looks like an image code to me but as you see all I get is the code coming up, no picture.

I think I've downloaded a different version than what you seem to have Ben, however when you click on the link I've posted above ( I dragged this from the address bar at the top of the screen ) the picture then comes up. I seemed to think that the picture itself would come up, maybe not. I use an acer chromebook at the moment and the app I downloaded was one that takes the image from google drive and then I post it from this Imgur app to here, I'm going to double check and see if I can do the same from google drive. I don't care for the build threads etc that have these links and no photos but maybe that's the way it has to be.

That's me finally sussed how to share it from google drive, but would still like to have pics on my posts instead of links, can't have everything I suppose!!

I don't use an app, i just go onto imgur.com and do it from their website.

 

There is no reason why you can't have photo's in the thread. Everyone else does

I don't know. I have been using it for ages now and it hasn't given a hint of filling up.

Yeah, I installed the phone app for photobucket just to get some extra space :) 

Cool, I think I'll get an imgur account.
