So it seems Jeremy and co. have signed a deal with Amazon for 3 series of a motoring show for Amazon prime.

http://www.bbc.com/n...t-arts-33715671

It was going to happen and im not surprised it was a streaming service. No pesky advertisers or car manufacturers to please, only the consumer and what they want.

Who's getting a subscription to prime then??

Not me, top gear was incredibly stale by the end. They may do something new but equally could be a pile of crap. And I wouldn't pay Amazon a penny as they screw the British public out of millions without paying any tax.

What's that then? I'm not subscribing to anything so probably won't watch it. It won't be the same as it's heyday!

Even a small portion of the 300 million viewers Top Gear had with the trio will be enough to justify moving to Prime.

Just saw this on the news.

If you like boring motoring news, tune into the Chris Evans show Top gear. If you like 3 middle aged men mucking about, Then watch the trios new show.

Ill watch it because i think it's a laugh to watch. It is what it is. Like it or loath it

Amazon Prime is ace; if you shop on Amazon and watch lots of TV/films. I fall into that group, so for me this is 'good news'.

I'm not going to buy a car based on a review by Chris Evans in the same way no-one will let me do all the ridiculous stuff that Clarkson et al do.

I don't care that Top Gear didn't review diesel Astras, if I was thinking about buying one I'd do my own research and see what I thought it was like to drive.

Will I subscribe to Amazon Prime? Probably not at the moment.
