guys,

Just rebuild my 1999 MPI , cant get the engine to turn over, the alarm light on the dash is out, if i put power to the trigger wire on the starter motor  it works the engine turns over.

I havent wired up the door switches is this causing the issue, i have replaced the remote battries, .

Any things to test please advise

James

If you have disconnected the battery then you will need to press the lock button 4 or 5 times. This will cause the hazards to flash. Then press the unlock button. This should turn off the immobiliser.

If you switch on the ignition without firing it up you should hear the fuel pump prime. If you don't then the immobiliser is still on
