I fitted a new loom to my mini. I asked Minispares which one was right for the model (94 Sprite 1275cc) so that should be ok. I went to plug the connectors in to the fuse box today and I have a few different colour wires.
I took a note of which wire was on which connector on my old loom. I started numbers from the lower left (o/s) corner running bottom to top. So lower left top is number one, top left top row is 4, lower left bottom row is 5, top left bottom row is 8 ( I hope that makes sense).
Anyway, on the o/s I had a red wire at connector 1, nothing on 2, red at 3, yellow at 4, red at 5, green and yellow at 6, brown at 7 and white at 8.
The problem is that my new loom doesn't have the red wire that is supposed to be at 3 or the yellow meant to be at 4.
Using the same numbering method (bottom to top) upper row then lower row = numbers 9 to 16.
On the top row I only had a Green and Yellow wire on connector 10 on the top tow - that is not in my new loom.
I also don't have the Green and Yellow wire supposed to be connected on 14.
I do however have two spare wires - one is green and red and the other is light green.
Can anyone tell me what the missing wires are please?
