Hi;
I have been using Everbuild Puraflex Seam Sealer from a Tube, using the tube I could not get in between the Inner Arch and Rear Quarter inside the boot towards back of the Rear Seat so I needed some brushable sealer.
As I need it quick I popped to my local Auto Parts supplier 'Pat Williams' who had some Indasa Brushable Seam Sealer.
Here is the very sparse data sheet that I have found.
It comes in a 1kg tin so as well as doing the rear inner arches I intend to use it when I do the front end, inside Companion Bins, Flitch Panels and Inner Wings etc.
Couple of questions about this stuff:
1. Has anyone used this product, and is it any good?
2. What is best to smooth it down with, for the Pura Flex I was using Celly Thinners?
3. Will it adhere ok on Epoxy Primer?
4. Any tips on using brushable sealer over a tube in a Caulk Gun? I have read a tip about using masking tape to get neater edges?
5. According to the data sheet the drying time is 12 Hours, after this time would it be ok to go over with another layer of Epoxy (sprayed on using thinners), or spray on Gravitex Stone Chip, again thinned with thinners?
Thanks in advance.
