Ben - I'm in no great rush, where abouts are you located and would you be prepared to post it? (At my cost obviously!)

The panel is in Kent but postage is not a problem, especially if you only want that half. i can just cut it slightly oversize.

Ill be down there hopefully in a couple of months

That would be awesome! :-) I doubt I will want to do this before then, I'm hoping to sort the interior over the winter so we can take it to MITP next year :-)

A mean tester could fail that, but I can't see that it'd have any effect on the belt anchorage  (in anger, the belts would attempt to pull the mounting from the boot floor and heelboard). You could argue it'd be better than original if you put a flange around the hole.

I would tend to agree that it's not essential to fix it but if the OP want's it to be back to original, then the correct piece is sitting in the loft doing nothing. Ill never have a need for it, i just saved it from the scrap bin when i cut up a shell as it was in nice condition.

If it`s any consolation my Clubby has a similar hole in its seat back now that I have removed the woofer. The difference is that mine has a custom flange around it which I intend to panel over. Said flange actually stiffens the bulkhead in this case as it`s 3D so to speak.
