remote casing, chemically cleaned, fitted with SCCR gearkit and box rebuilt by Guessworks (0 miles since work carried out).  There's a receipt for this work to state it was £1050

Included in the sale will be:

pair of Hardy Spicer outputs/couplings

brand new pair of driveshafts (Minispares, uprated ones)

SC transfer gears, primary gear needs rebushing...new Minispares fully floating front bush and new rear bush included.

Remote extension (gear lever) fitted with brand new KAD quickshift, standard lever also included

Transfer case and clutch 'wok' cover included

The box is also fitted with an uprated layshaft, 3.1:1 FD ratio on a Minispares X-Pin diff.

I'm asking £1000 for this. This is a bargain for something that has done 0 miles and has MANY new parts fitted.  If you're rebuilding a Cooper S or something, this is a good piece of kit for you to buy and you'll save yourself a lot of money over buying it all new.

PM me if you're serious, please, no silly offers.  This is a serious piece of kit.

Ooff if I haven't of just booked a holiday this would be nice.. I'm not sure the wife would agree rather than spending a week in the sun staring at gearbox in the front room waiting for the winter project mayhem...

Looks good it might help if you list the make of the gear set.

It's a Guessworks gearset :P

In fact it's an A+ Clubman gearset fitted into a remote box, so runs the stronger A+ layshaft ( EN36 ) and the A+ mainshaft with 18mm nose bearing.
