1275 carbed
Ultralight flywheel
All engine mounts and stabilisers are new
Solid mounted subframe and all mounts are tight and ok
So, the car drives fine everything is smooth but when I am coasting ( foot off accelorator and in gear)
I get lurching almost like you jumping on and off the brakes but it is the engine doing the braking.
It is way more noticeable when going down hill but that's to be expected.
The engine hasn't yet been on a rolling road yet so could this be a tuning issue or just a trait of the ultralight flywheel not having the inertia to slow down smoothly under engine braking.

sounds like set up issue. engine over fueling (float chamber flooding).

Brilliant, turned the filter king down and tweaked the mixture slightly and it's gone.sounds like set up issue. engine over fueling (float chamber flooding).
Thanks buddy, time for that long overdue rolling road.
