Mini Engine Found Help On Id

Hi I was cleaning out my dads garage and cane across a mini engine there is no cylinder head but rocker cover gas a weslake patent metal badge I know engine was from a 63 mini I have the engine numbers can someone help please ,
Has metal plate with these numbers BAM OR 8AM U-H500988 , then on block 12A450 then under that 25 1or I K then on other side wmo 21087/81 is there any chance that its a full weslake engine or was it more likely just the head ? Thanks

Sounds like a standard 850

Weslake Patent Badge on rocker cover was standard fit at the time.

Pretty sure it was on my mk1 850 as when I rebuilt it I put it back the wrong way round i.e so it wasn't upside down
