I have a 1275 engin e from an 89' metro. Just wondering if this amount of material is normal to be ground off the crankshaft. I know its for balancing purposes, it just looks more than what my 998 had.

I had an identical one.

 

I'm waiting for my mate to have it checked by a machine shop
