Hi mates

I have been thinking about fitting a sump guard on my mini since its riding quite low.
And i don't want to damage my engine.

The thing is since i live in Denmark shipping from GB is insane expensive. Therefore i came by the great idea that i could just make my own.

The thing is its pretty difficult to see how the ones you can buy are made, and how they are meant to be fitted. It wont be a problem making the sump guard my self.
But i need some ideas/inputs on where to mount it, and what it should cover.

So if someone could tell me where sump guard are mounted, aprrox size and shape.
Do you think it would be a bad idea to mount the front of it on the center bumper mountings.
Was thinking about making a hole/hatch so it would be possible to change oil without having to remove the sump guard.

Problem is if your car is already running low then fitting a sump guard will make it even lower !!!!!!! :'(
