Hello all mini lovers,

 

I just got my first mini.  I worked on one as a kid until I was 19 but never owned one.

 

It is a 1981 1275E, but for the life of me I do not know what model.  It was made by Leyland South Africa.

 

Any advice on where I Can get this info?

 

 

This is what is on the car.

Model:1146AA

Serial number: 093082

Chassis number: 711-3232

Hi and welcome to TMF from a fellow 1275 E owner

 

Your mini is a Leyland Mini 1275 E (that's the model). It should have a South African block 1275cc engine.
