I rebuilt my hs4 carb about 6 months ago and all was fine the choke would operate fine, now if i use the choke the jet returns to a point and then gets stuck and is constantly on unless i physical return the jet fully, this was pick up on its MOT due to emissions.

Has anyone else had the same problem and how can i solve it.

I would think of a bad spring, but more likely the needle is bent/uncentered.
