Not sure where you're based but minidoor.co.uk/ are located up in Preston. I haven't used them so can't comment on service but will be contacting them shortly to see what they can do to the doors on my spi.

why not get your's refurbed than the car will still be orignal........as no 2 dores are the same......I bought brand new ones some years ago and got them sprayed the body colour then went to fit them, guess what they did not fit without doing things to window frame and once fitted they needed a respray again. so try and use your old doors

I've just spent this afternoon restoring 2 off Mk.1 doors. I took the old skins off, repaired the lower part of the door frame, treated it frame with rust converter where necessary and offered the new outer skins (pattern ones) up for checking. Tomorrow I'll paint all the hard to acces areas with red-oxide primer before fitting the outer skins.

It really is not a difficult job, assuming you have a MIG welder and then you know the job is done correctly.

By doing your own doors rather than getting a second hand set that have been refurbed you are more likely to get a decent fit without struggling.
