looking for some advice

In local 'hillclimbing' event I noticed a puff of white smoke when on full throttle.

At about 0:58 secs, if annoyed of the look of an BMW in the rear.

Oil level correct, doesnt use oil in daily use. 1275 cc stock engine, 10000 kms since rebuilt, but the block, crank and pistons were all new old stock

Thanks

White smoke = steam. Is the head gasket still tight?

Looks like blue smoke. What revs were u doing? Its not that abnormal for a competition engine to smoke a bit, especially when releasing the throttle

dont know what revs:) I dont have a tacho. Full throttle in 3rd. I understand when changing gear it could mean valve stem seals. But why on full throttle? could it be something to do it appeared after sharp corner?

Yup i think oil rings as well but could be wrong. If on throttle and its blowing oil smoke then rings will be the culprit.
