Well since my project has taken a turn for the worst I'm now rebuilding the engine for my mini which is an excuse to get the front subframe out and cleaned up and paint the whole engine bay. I've been working on it for a few hours most days doing bit's and pieces to get it just ready enough to be ready for the road and it did go in for it's mot but after failing on a few simple issues I've been trying to sort things I'm not happy with and I've just been adding to work pile.
Work carried out so far
New built backplates installed
Braided brake lines
Adjustable bottom arms and Tie bars
New wiring for headlights from WBW
Tidying up the wiring in engine bay
New clutch master cylinder, braided hose, slave cylinder
Wooden steering wheel
Custom wooden gearknob fitted onto KAD moke quickshift
Various other bits
Engine is now out and getting a full rebuild, well I'm building a 1330 up, depending on cash will determine when this gets done.
Pics
Because I've got halos for the sidelights, I linked the sidelight bulb in the indicator unit to the indicator circuit and paint the bulb orange.
