After opinions really...,

I really like the idea of a full cream interior (carpet, seats, harness, dash, dash rails, door cards) you get the idea.

Do you think it would be over kill or would you get away with it?

Iv seen a lot of people put the cobra leman seat package in but not changed the carpet and dash just everything else.

Any pics as an idea would be appreciated.

Thanks

My daily is a 318 touring with full cream leather interior and cream carpets. I was a bit worried when we got it but it had survived years so I thought it would be ok. It's really nice and the only thing I have noticed is that you need to be careful with your shoes but with over mats it's not a major issue. It's a much nicer place to be than a really dark interior in my opinion. Get either leather or vinyl seats and you will be fine.

I seem to remember someone doing an all white mini. As in, bright white.

I say go for it. Something different

My old daily Mercedes 190E had cream leather seats, cream colored carpet as well as cream trims and cream door cards.

The only thing that wasn't cream was the dashboard and the handbrake/Gear selector which were black.

It also had Walnut fascia's and door cappings.

as Clive said about his BMW, Cream is a very nice place to be, much more light and airy than a dark interior.

I had no trouble cleaning mine, i just had corded over mats (Also in cream) which i used to remove when they were dirty and jetwash, and i used a decent leather cleaner on the seats.

Perhaps a bit old fashioned but how about Tan or Caramel colored piping on he seats and edging on the carpets to break things up a bit

I think I'm just going to go for it, iv spent enough time getting it this far I may aswell have something a bit different. It's not going to be driven weekly let alone daily so I'm not really worried about it getting dirty. also, because of the little walk to the garage there will certainly be a pair of mini only driving shoes in there.

My next issue i have come across is everyone's different versions of cream. As black is black and most of the time grey is grey sourcing items from various places is fine but with cream I can imagine it being horrid. All this topped off by the fact I'm pretty much colourblind, haha.

as long as the seats match the door cards (and dash rails if they are to be cream) then the carpet can be a different shade. In fact, a darker carpet would look better in my opinion
