Dear TMF'ers,

need to replace the above plus complete new exhaust.

the cast manifold as it is extends downwards about 10cm before it clamps to the down pipe of the small bore, twin box exhaust.

been on minispares and all of their exhaust manifolds have significantly longer down sections coming from the three initial outlets.

the only thing that I can see, is from their catelogue pages:  12G3538.

this is NLA which I presume is no longer available..?

cheers for any assistance and sorry for the absence of a photo - car in bed (garage) and dog asleep in garage

they are probably no longer available new but you shouldn't find it to hard to get one second hand as most people replace them with something that helps with the horses

What age is the car/ have you got a HS of HIF carb fitted.

I doubt you'll find a new cast manifold anywhere. They've never been worth a lot as they are often swapped for Cooper Freeflo or LCB units and I'd imagine lots were just scrapped when Rover went down.

The exhaust manifold is actually pretty decent. The inlet side is less good. Can pick them up second hand for nothing. What exactly is the reason for wanting to replace it?

And it's fairly easy to saw the inlet section off the cast exhaust of the 998, this allow you to use alloy inlet manifold but keep the standard 998 exhaust.
