That's a single line pedal, so either someone swapped the whole caboodle, or the pdwa is the imposter.

The Valve has an arrow with the words "FRONT" cast in to the body of it. The line of the Arrow needs to be more or less level;-

This is the only photo I have on this PC of them fitted up;-

but I doubt that's your issue here.

Except for the carbs and incorrect rad,  your engine bay config should look like this...that is the master cyl your car would have come with.  My guess is someone has salvaged bits off an older car ( pictured is a 77, so the pdwa may differ slightly

I have a pic of a stock 75 engine bay somewhere.....

Found...This is a 75...tough to see the valve, but appears to be the same.  Correct brake master.

Notice the correct rad and thermo housing...this was to accomodate the airpump ( not important here I know )

Thanks everyone! Iv ordered a "T" to replace the weird junction block on the bulkhead. I will make sure the bias valve is in the correct orientation, and see how the brake bias is, after that and go from there.

Thats cool to see how my engine bay is meant to look. For comparison here is my current engine bay

Where is your crank case vented to?  If you get a "T" you could hook the valve cover into it and do away with that little filter.

Much tidier than the pic of my old 75...lol

that picture is a little out of date, the crank case vents into the carb now.

I am guessing that (based on the direction of the hose) it is not being used as a windshield wiper reservoir but a radiator overflow bottle.

you would be correct. The washers didn't work anyways and it was in a good location so I put it to use.

But doesn't that make your windscreen streaky?

I'd have thought all Ozzie Min's would leak like that, what with them being upside down 'n all.
