The mini was roller painted in 2010, this turned out well and has lasted many years now (you can find the forum thread here http://miniclan.com/...g35169#msg35169
Fully undersealed

The mini is 33 years old, so is not perfect, but is very very solid and is a great fun, very responsive fun drive!
Very quick for a 998!
The engine is incredible and i have no concerns it will go for another 30 years!
I am a member of many Mini clubs and I have completed many runs & events, including many in Scotland (Thistle Runs), London to Brighton, IMM Birmingham 50th Anniversary 2009 and even IMM GERMANY in 2010 covering 3500 miles across Europe without any faults. These engines will go forever when looked after.
The body is showing a few bits of rust in the normal places, under headlights where panels join and also a few spots on doors but nothing major.
The mini has been stored on my drive, covered since 2012, and has been started frequently to keep it ticking over and always starts first time. All brake, calipers etc are free and moving as is the clutch.
I bought him in 2007 and have put thousands of hours and thousands of pounds into fully rebuilding him with all new parts, I have over £4000 of receipts and documented history from 2007 inc MOT's and receipts.
I am selling as a project as no MOT, i have no time with work commitments. He does drive fine, however would need to be trailored away as no Mot.
All that will be needed for MOT is 4 new tyres, oil and fluid change.
This is a very reluctant sale, however, I have a new project to fund, however, if the price i have in mind is not met, i will keep.
COLLECTION ONLY AND CASH ON COLLECTION
around £1900 or OFFERS
