Hi the car drives great other than the occasional loud 'bang' which kicks in a few seconds after driving off in gear a bit like you dropped the clutch too hard. I replaced the bottom engine mount on one side but things feel solid now. Cant work this one out for the life of me. Any thoughts peeps?

The car now seems to lock one front wheel on occasion and pull hard left! Im thinking clutch/gearbox/diff? Or could this somehow still be a bottom mount? It has gone but not moving a lot?

Its really odd and rectifies itself after a period of a minute where it has no gears to select and the selector feeling like it has been pushed backwards possibly (tight in to reverse). Back in to reverse for 10 yards and good to go again, grrrrr. Drives super otherwise, ha!

Come on guys any ideas?

Does it do it when driving or when your just "pulling" off ? Could be a sticking shoe if it just from "pulling" off at a guess

Cheers james

This needs to be investigated before you use the car any more.

If it's locking up a wheel and pulling left it could be the diff failing or something wrong with the brakes.

Yes I'm certain its not breaks, disks on front and rear is all fine. I think it must be diff/box so planning to pull the lot out and send it to Guessworks. I jus wondered if anybody had experienced similar particularly as it feels like the selector shaft has pressure on it when it happens so could be indicative of mounts but seems extreme. Car off road at mo.

Is there a chance it could be a drive shaft? I did 'rebuild' a set of pot joint ones when I upgraded to 7.5 disks
