Another forum I use occasionally has a feature that goes some way to cut down on members asking questions that crop up all the time.

When you type in a title for a new thread, posts with similar titles are suggested.

Having recently posted a thread and been told the topic comes up regularly, I wonder whether Admin would like this feature or whether it can technically be incorporated in this forum.
