i was thinking of painting the underside of my bonnet like a scotish flag. Since it has a cross on it. Im thinking of using Tahiti Blue for the background as this is what my dream Mini would be painted. just wondering what you think of the idea? Will it look naff/good? Someone could possibly use photoshop.

Thanks

Andrew

Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm sure I've seen a Mini bonnet with a Union Jack flag on the underside, again using the diagonal crossmembers. I'd say go for it, it'll look original and unique, and gives you an excuse to open your bonnet at shows and stuff!

Sounds like a brilliant idea. One thing, Id stick to a flat blue as tahiti will be an pain to spray. Just stick to a solid blue and it will be loads easier... Plus the Scotland flag isnt metallic anyway ;D

What would be the difference to spraying tahiti blue and a flat blue? Tahiti blue is only metallic, just use an aerosol if you can get it. Or am i missing something? :ermm:

sounds like a good idea mate, it would look a bit different - id say try it and if you didnt like it you could always repaint it again ;D

thanks for the input guys. Only reason I was wanting Tahiti was that is is what I really want on my car but I cant afford a whole respray so i was thinking of getting just a bit on my car. Flat blue it is then.
