is that empty dizzy houseing right for an spi ? as I'll be floging the spi stuff so that should go with it I assume?

now for some of the stuff I dont want like a complete spi setup that will be on Ebay very very soon like later on today

OOH, just the ecu im after, is the Alarm/imobiliser box there too?

You looking to sell it?????????????????????????????????.............................

Yes the dizzy on the SPi is 'empty'

Rods are small bore(850,998, 1100) and look to be lightened as well

is the alarm the little black box under the bonnet with 2 plugs ?

no thats the relay pack. Im just thinking about it, it may never have had one fitted depending on the year of the car.

The alarm inobiliser box is normaly fitted to the bulkhead inside the car and behind the dash

I dunno then as its all been in a mates garage for years and I know nowt of spi
if you can describe it I'll have a look

I think it was a 94/5 mini its all from

Oh I see its a cooper ecu
so that means I most likely have a cooper engine whats the norm bhp'ish of a cooper lump with an lcb twin box janspeed and an hif44 ?

and whats with that grill I noticed theres no bonnet catch hole ?

With the cooper engine, expect around 63bhp

And th grille is a Mk1 Morris Cooper grill for the internal bonnet release

I hope that 63bhp is better than my current 1275 lump :ermm: although I guess its not slow realy for a mini anyway Lol but the 2.95 makes cruiseing nice ;D

funnily enough I remember him sayying the grill was a cooper one ages ago I thought it was just a crappy ugly grill from the 80s Lol
I didnt think the mk1 had the alloy strip along the bottom ?

Oh and my mistake on the grill, Doh, I thought for some egotistic reason you were comenting on my grill, LOL and Doh

That grill is off, I think a sprite from 92 onwards. And doh once again

its a load slower on take off than the mg 3.44 thats for sure Lol

to my knowledge, cooper is 3.2 non cooper is 3.1 but by 94 they may all have been 3.1.

There normaly a sticker on the top of the diff casing that gives you the # of teeth

I meant my current lump has a 2.95 I think
