But there is not much you can mod on the MPI.

Personally I would convert it to carbs and get a electronic ignition system set up to work with the available sensor.

And don't forget the mods that give the best results are done with the engine out and in bits.

I definitely see where you are coming from.

Its going to take me some time to tidy the body up.
So plenty of time to think of what mods to do. I definitely don't have any issues putting a carb on it.

You can also run the current rad. No need to fit the front mounted one. Temp sensor location might be fun but not the end of the world.
