Hello could anyone tell me exactly which relay controls the dip beam on a 1994 spi

It's the last thing I can look at before I just celotape flash lights to the wings
There are 3 along the inside wing drivers side then 2 up too of the bulk head passenger side
Or is it one lurking under the dash board?

Also if my dips arnt working and I have check bulbs, connections, taken apart the switch... Can the main beam stalk switch fail and cause the dips not to work ? Main beams work fine (to other motorists anger)

Here is some info I have on the later cars and relay locations, which may identify for you what relay does what, but as far as I'm aware the Mini didn't use relays on the headlights standard, the later 24 fusebox cars did however have the headlights fused left/right, and the earlier cars were not fused.

Get access to the bottom on the steering cowling where the headlight switch wires come out into the plug and with the switch on dip beam confirm you have 12v on the Blue/red wire, if you do then check the same wire bullet connections under the bonnet slam panel just left of the catch when viewed from the front, and check they are clean its a source of headlight issues.

If you have no 12v feed at the connector at thew base of the column then yes you can have main beam working and no dip, it could be caused by the copper contacts worn/burnt causing a high resistance and not passing current, with the cowling off look at the way the switch works between dip/main and its possible to do a temporary repair buy cleaning the contacts with a needle file. The temporary repair might last a while or not depending on how badly burnt the contact faces were and how much heat due to the high resistance has weakened the copper contacts.
