Hello,

I'm currently fitting the aforementioned wheels to my '95 sprite and have run in to a number of problems.

Firstly it looked like a 4x4, so I bought it down to suitable height with the Hi-Los. Then the wheel rubbed on the front.

I understand an amount of wheel arch dressing is required at the front. I have tried to avoid this as best as possible, by replacing the bent tie rods and broken dampers (I wondered why it handled so badly, it was atrocious with the standard steels!) These mods have reduced the amount it rubs, but the rubbing is still there.

It also has 3/4 inch front wheel spacers (crazy I know, previous owner was a numpty) from the old wheels, which I am planning on replacing for standard length studs.

On this point, will some form of shim / small spacer (5-10mm) be required with 6 x 12 deep dish wheels to avoid rubbing on the inboard tyre edge when turning full lock? I hope not, as I dislike the idea of having anything spacing the front wheels further out.

Also, on the point of the front wheel arch dressing, I have been informed of a 'template' for removing the required amount of metal (~1" at the front of the arch) from minisport, however, the link no longer works.

Does someone have a copy they would care to share with me?

Thanks

Tom
