How I Got Rid Of Positive Rear Camber

The mini has always looked "wrong" at the back end, so while it's being refreshed I thought I'd tackle it.
I put together a camber "gauge" with some ally box section and threaded bar. The spirit level shows the camber the wrong way off level (tyre wear on outside too). Offside was worse than the near side.
I took the swing arm brackets off ( they came off easy enough as I only put the car together 18 months ago).
I marked off the brackets for slotting, initially 2mm, and took the slot slightly forwards to give a bit of toe in.
Put the slotted brackets on the car and lowered it with the road wheels on, and rechecked it.
The offside took 4mm, near side 3mm. I've wedged the slots with some wedges made from washers. Bubble on the level is just over the line in the right direction now 😃

Also repaired the spare wheel well, dead easy with celly, just rollered it on with a foam roller.

Like I keep saying the best and cheapest way to do it.

And you know they will fit.
