Hi there,

I am looking at buying a Leyland Mini that has had a 1275cc conversion. Just wondering what is there I should look out for and how this corresponds to the rest of the car.

Any suggestions would be great thanks!

Has the v5 been changed? Does the speedo read right? Does it have discs up front or drums? Other than that just usual mini checks for rust

Be aware of low mileage 1275s that puff oil, the 998s correctly looked after do more miles before needing a overhaul
