Hey new to the mini scene and am restoring a 1991 mini. Today im hoping to start off with some welding. Now i have the door opening braced etc. So on the drivers side i have to replace the front and rear floor pans and door step along with the inner sill and outer sill. Where do i start really ha!:) What do i remove first etc?

Pictures? Let us know what you're working with!
Just be confident in what you're working with, make sure things are measured properly and the shell isn't being shifted around for it to twist.

Make sure you have your new panels, cut out the rust then cut and adjust new panels to suit amd don't move it around as this is when things tend to move.

I would brace same as I have for full floor replacement, across doors then across a and b post, then put a leg to cross member. You can then cut the lot out and build it up, if you can leave the door on it will aid door step fitting,

Are you doing individual floors or a half floor??
If you are doing a full inner sill then the companion bin will ideally need to come out as you need to access the inner sill stiffener in there.
Who's door step are you using magnum or Heritage?? Leaving the door on is not ideal either due to the fact you need to access the bottom of the A post. By all means trial fit the door with the step slaved in place but I would leave it off when welding everything in place.
What you are contemplating doing is a large job so as in Daz 1968s picture add some bracing, keep the car nice and level and well supported to minimise any twisting.
