Welcome, most of the decent size meets have a variety of clubs and trade stands, so just turn up and see what takes your fancy. TMF'er from here quite often get together for some of the bigger meets of the years. Ask questions and show an interest and your will be fine

that's great thanks for the reply, iv heard there are some small meets sometimes held at pubs as well i did once go to a morris minor meet but most of the people were 30-40 years older than me i was hoping i could meet people of a similar age with the same sort of interest are there many people around my age at these meets?

Well one of the good things about the mini is that unlike a lot of classics it does tend to attract all age ranges, from the first time driver right through to the classic collector. Only one way to find out tho.....

Where abouts do you live? I've just been asking around to see of anyone is local to me and where they are going... I've found a few clubs... They invite you along and you can join for a small fee on the day if you like it all... then they keep you up to date on all the meets and upcoming events...
i live in leicester definitely going to attend some meets as soon as it warms up where abouts are you? do you live in bromley i think that's london area which isn't that far
