Hi i wonder if you could help,I have built an a+ (its a spi Cooper block) 1340 mini with a 255 scatter cam at 10/1 cr with RC40 lcb with an Hif44 supplying the go juice. With a stage 3 head. I am after a distributor being put together. Don't really want to fork out £100s would a standard dizzy be OK or do I need to spend the dosh on a made to spec?

So you will be putting it on the rolling road?

They should be able to sort out your base dizzy. You just need to deside if you want/need a vac advance or not.

H&H ignitions will recurve a dizzy to your spec for about £40. They did a great job on mine for a 1330 with stage 3 head, uprated cam etc. They also do an off the shelf dizzy for fast Road which may suit your spec. I'd say call them and see what they can do. If one of their fast Road dizzy's is curved to your spec I have a brand new one down the road in Southampton which I don't need.

Get them to cap the max advance for you while they're at it.
