This seems a bit unusual?

Was in the for sale section of this months Miniworld, I assume its a converted estate although the tailgate is vertical not at the tell tale angle - I guess it could be a round nose converted.

Anyway thought it was interesting  :shifty:

Oh really, wonder if it sold and is now being re-sold or failed to sell.

To be honest it's not for me, I just found it more interesting than anything! I am hoping to have a good solid round nose tucked in the garage in the next few weeks.

Metro engine, possibly an Allegro front rad, custom rear window and custom rear tailgate and rear lights. Someone's put in a fair few hours on this one - although it's a bit of a mongrel. Brake servo looks a bit odd too - what's it from???

I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not!!

Times have changed as until a few years ago part of the appeal of Mini's was the incredible variety of hybrid 'mix and match' conversions owners came up with, whereas now most seem to prefer factory original cars. I guess this is because Mini's are now seen as much rarer and more valuable classic cars....unlike back in the 'Hot Car' and 'Custom Car' era of the '70's.

I like it! Personally I have always thought the squarer front end of the clubman suits the boxier body styles of the estate/van/pickup better than the round nose. Id have it!  :D

My mate did a very, very similar clubby estate  20 years ago.  That one looks absolutely identical!  Whereabouts is/was it for sale?
