Not the mostly subtle, but for the price, I'd give it a go. Mine looks like a small tube that sits just above the rear view mirror.

Shop on ebay before making your decision.  There are many available there with a wide variety of features and very low prices.

I don't know what your budget is but this one in halfords seems pretty good, we have a lower down model and it's good quality.

I use the SJ4000 Looks like a go pro fits in go pro mounts etc.... just 10times cheaper.
