i would say no as you want any water that has found it's way into the sill to escape

To clarify you will be leaving the vents open but seam seal the areas in between that are spot / plug welded??

Yes I think he's on about the plug weld sectionAs title is it best to seam sealer the bottom of the sills where they are plugged to the floor or not I can work up some logic for both so abit unsure lol.
I've personal not bothered using sealer on the outer sill
I tend to have used weld through primer then prime ,etch before if needed stone chip etc etc
I've seen a few people brush products in the join or poured into the vents while the shell is upside down

Personally i have done on my sons car and will be doing so on my own as well. The inside will be pumped with as much Dintrol as i can get in as well.
My choice.
