As title is it best to seam sealer the bottom of the sills where they are plugged to the floor or not I can work up some logic for both so abit unsure lol.

i would say no as you want any water that has found it's way into the sill to escape

To clarify you will be leaving the vents open but seam seal the areas in between that are spot / plug welded??

Yeah that's right should I or shouldn't I. Sills will be filled with dynax and gravitex outside but didn't know what the consensus was with Seam sealing the in between bits

Yes I think he's on about the plug weld section
I've personal not bothered using sealer on the outer sill
I tend to have used weld through primer then prime ,etch before if needed stone chip etc etc
I've seen a few people brush products in the join or poured into the vents while the shell is upside down

Personally i have done on my sons car and will be doing so on my own as well. The inside will be pumped with as much Dintrol as i can get in as well.

My choice.

Yeah I got a big can of the dynatrol stuff with the injection lance. Got no idea how far one goes but gonna have a go and see how I get on. I'm thinking for ease I probably won't bother and will rely on the wax/ gravitex thanks for the input though chaps
