Hey guys!

Being an avid motorcycle lover since the young age of 5, it's only taken me from being availabile to ride a motorcycle on the road from 16 to the age of 24 to pass my test! First time pass, with 5 out of 15 minors.

Goodbye to my little MZ 125 and hello to my 400 Bandit

Here she is when I got her....

She was constantly flooding a cylinder, drove me and my dad mental, never had more carburettor troubles than a jap!

Got a nice stainless steel radiator grille to go on and some red silicone coolant hoses :D

Pump? do you mean regulator? that was shagged, so I replaced it, after it decided to fry my battery.... it's pretty good ! main jet needs tweaking as it's popping when I shut off the throttle completely. Other than that it goes like stink

When was it imported?

If it was recently it'll need a carb strip and clean. They tend to stand in Japan for ages before being shipped over

Great! I'd give the carbs a strip, light clean and rebuiid to remove the dust etc which can build up

Registered 1991, came over here 2002, I've already had the carbs off a million times, they were actually in good condition inside the bowls, other than one cylinder enjoyed flooding itself, finally sorted :)
