Hi everyone, I'm looking at replacing my minis seats with something more comfortable. I can see that there is plenty of options, however being over 6ft tall I want a seat that I can push further back to give me more room. I know I can get a modernised subframe for the seat that will allow me to roll back further, but my concern is finding a seat that will clear the rear bins, as without doing this the bins would restrict me somewhat.

Best,

My mx5 seats clear the bins, but they're on custom made subframes

Any other suggestions of seats/subframe I can buy?

There's a whole thread showing all the seats you can fit.

I will be removing my bins when I fit my new seats as I need as much room as possible

Thanks, but I was meaning more seats that can be bought from mini parts stockists, rather than seats from other cars that happen to fit.

Any will fit, you'll just have to cut out the rear bins

That's what it's going to take to get the seats you want in a comfortable position
