Hi all..... I'm deseaming the mini but came up with an idea but I need some good or bad comments

What if the bumpers where cut so you only have the corners fitted ?

Like an old lotus cortina? Could work... you'd need to fab up an extra mount to hold it in place.

Yes mate similar .... As I've deseamed I could put brackets anywhere really to suit.... I just can't picture it in my head lol

like the idea of deseaming all smooth and silky ............then add nasty sticky out bumpers..............WHY?

There was a German 3-wheeler Mini featured in Mini Magazine back in 2014 that had the center cut out of the front bumper, leaving corner bumpers. I thought it looked pretty good.

WHY NOT? ... He wouldn't be fitting the entire bumper so deseaming would still be necessary for the desired look anyway.

I think it looks wicked .... May have to keep the stainless bumpers now lol ... And there's me thinking i had thought of something no one had done before ....

I wonder what the rear would look like ....... But would it look weird without moving the number plates ? Or would it look better with the plates in between the bumpers both front and rear

i did it on my clubman estate to fit up down spots ,the rear were just corners anyway on these
