Hi all, as topic title really. Has anyone on here reskinned a boot lid? Is the procedure roughly the same as door reskinning. I've got those to do as well and I've found methods for the doors. Had a search on here but couldn't find any.

If you reskinned a Mk4 boot would a Mk1/2 skin fit?

Not sure if the internal bracing is different so may cause an issue.

Not via minispares unless you buy a complete boot lid. Nothing from M Machine either. And nothing from Somerford Mini either. They list one but appears to be no longer available.

Not off the shelf you can't I think you can order them but take 6-8 week waiting though

You can't get them, unless you buy a mk1 lid and unpick it. Was a labour of love to get mk2 lid back in a decent state

I don't think the frame would be an issue as it is only the lower edge of the panel that differs.
