Hi All, 

 

I have a 96 SPI Mayfair that came over from Japan with AirCon installed. I'm going to remove the AirCon and looking at the alternator position it won't line up with the fan once I remove the AC compressor. See picture. As I don't have another non-AC'd car to reference, I can't see if there is a difference in the mounting position of the alternator. Help!

You probably need to get the standard A+ alternator brackets that attach to the engine block where the compressor bracket currently is. You will need items 10 through 23 from the Minispares catalogue or equivalent:

So the standard mounting point of the alternator is where the compressor lives now? Sounds easy enough!
