Am i the first to have done this or am i just getting my hopes up :D

First i moved the fog light in the place of the reversing light, i then moved the break light to the top of the clusted and moved the indicetor in to the middle.

The viedo isnt very clear and the lights didnt work very well on my camera but it gives you an idea of what i have done.

i had thought about this but wen i measured it it was still within the 100mm distance between the stop light and fog light therefore making it illegal

Yea i know but surely there is a higher chance it will pass with a wider gap considering it is only about 5-10 mm out

I have a feeling that I remember someone talking about this before and it means the indicator lamp is mounted too low down to be permitted and can't be adequately seen from the side view or something like that. It certainly means the lamp is not approved any longer.

It's a good idea and something a little different and probably looks great but you should be aware that it's not entirely legal and you could be asked to fix it by someone at some point, might even land you a fine and pointage if you meet a nasty copper or get pulled into a department testing session.

There are strict rules about the placement of each and every lamp lens on the car. Heights from the road, distances from other objects and the edges of the car, viewing angles and stuff like that.

Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm not trying to stop you doing what you want to your car or diminish the work you've done here. I just think you should know these things and be prepared that someone official might not like it in the future.
