Ok the picture doesnt really show the horn very well at all, but its in this sort of position and its circular about 3-4 inches.
I just wanted to check that this is my horn as i will be fitting my air horns tomurow and i need to know if this is what i need to disconect.
Yea my horns are road legal to play of the horn pusher.

mine had air horns when i bought it, those 2 wires went to the compressor which was where the horn was, and he put the horns in the cold air duct to the inner wing

Stick your head under the bonnet and get some one to push the button for the horn. You'll soon find out!

Are you using a relay and a new power circuit? The new compressor will draw far more current than the old horn does.

no im not using a relay in just going to put a fuse in the live wire that goes to the compressor.

It's already a fused circuit but that won't protect the wiring or switches from the higher load. Could be dangerous but it might not even be a problem if it's a fairly low load compressor. In general it is thought of as good practice to fit a relay to these though.

You will also need the standard horn for the mot, so might be best to wire in the new one separately with a relay.

Ok thanks i wired in my air horns today using a relay so everything is propper and works properly. why do you need the normal horn for MOT considering that my horns are road legal.
