I currently have a 1983 mini sprite in primula yellow which will be slowly going through the restoration stage, anyway the previous owners got rid of the classic and rare herringbone front seats and just left the rear bench in. iv now managed to locate a set of original seats, what do people think they will be worth as the man wont give me a price? and what would my rear seat be worth if I was to sell it on? thanks for your help!

If you pay £5 for TMF+ you'll get discounts at minispares (7.5%) and other places as well and you will be able to post wanted, for sale adds and in the valuation areas without your thread being locked or deleted.

As your not selling anything or trying to obtain a value on a potential sale, I'm happy for this to stay, that said you have asked for a valuation on your rear seat which does effect things

Rules are rules I'm afraid, you agreed to them when you signed up! Now your a paid up TMF plus member you can start reaping the rewards, and it's always nice to give something back at the end of the day.

As above it's the rules, Was only trying to tell you what would probably happen and help you save a bit of money. once you've spent £80 in minispares (very easy  ) you'll have got your money back.

As for the price it's hard to say as there's not many about but they're not really sort after. I'd be happy to pay £100 if they were perfect.

I'll move this to the valuations section but I will also give a bit of background as to the rules....

To do any kind of buying and selling on here you need either 150 posts or tmf+ membership.  This may seem a bit harsh to new members but it's for the good of everyone.

Several years ago we had huge problems with people just signing up and selling stuff.  On the face of it that seems fine but the problems happen when items aren't as described or just don't even arrive.

All we ask that to buy or sell on here you need to make some kind of commitment to the forum, either by making a 150 posts or buying TMF+ membership.  By signing up we now have your pay-pal details, in the event of of problem this gives us a paper trail.

Since doing this we now have virtually no issues and TMF is a very safe place to trade.

The valuations sections used to be open to everyone but this turned into a back door to sell stuff, this door was recently closed!!

thanks for that, its understandable, your giving everyone the link to other people and pretty much earning them money so its only fair you have some sort of payment, and on terms of the seats, the guy hinted at £350 and I wasn't keen that's why he said make me an offer and I came on here to see, well if yours where mint at £125 hes massively over prices then!
