Ok I've seen a topic on this before but no one was clear on whether it had been done or not but I've seen some heated audi tt seats that I like the look of and if they would fit would look really smart in a mini so has anyone actually fitted them?

I think the hardest part of that would be the rails fitting into the car. The wiring is pretty straight forward! There are plenty of people that retro fit these sort of things to all sorts of vehicles.

As the above really, also you would need the front floor section of the part which fits to the TT floor which in theory hold the seat in place. I come from a VW background and when people fit the seats in the Mk3 Golfs the floor section has been mentioned. The seats also run on side runners so not so easy to drop straight on to some box section, anything is possible but a fair bit of work involved

I considered them years ago but they were not straight forward to mount and were very heavy

heavy I can see but not straight forward I can't. I've seen some crazy seats in minis so it's do-able I'd say :-)
