Right, so pulling out of my road this morning and all of a sudden, the gas pedal just goes straight in to the floor and no longer "springs back up". Does anybody have any idea on what the problem is, how I can check to see what the problem is and how to fix it??

Also, the window on the fron t passenger door doesn't wind down. It seems as though it is out of place as the window winds down at an angle and so gets stuck. I have no idea how I'm meant to put it back in to place, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

I have a 1275cc sprite if that helps!

cheers :D

You have the same window problem as me. Most likely the runner has dislodged one side. Causing the winder not to work properly. Can you hear it in the bottom of the door?

The accelerator pedal is sticking perhaps, you could try greasing it but idealling you need a replacement.

either the cable has snapped or the outer has popped out of its location on the carb shield/ Bracket. Assuming that it still has the HIF38 as standard

Or, slightly less likely, the cable has snapped, or the cable has come out of the pedal.
