Here I have for sale my L reg mini saloon that I'm now having to sell due to loosing my storage and also realising that I'm not going to get round to restoring it any time in the near future. I bought the mini about 5 years ago of someone local to me v5 is in my name and present, he had bought it some years before and had it stored in a heated garage, it is a 73 L plate (now tax exempt)(sorned years ago) mk3 with just over 31,000 miles on the clock and I'm the 3rd owner. It had been side swiped in the n/s taking out the n/s door, b pillar and n/s/r 1/4, put a crease in the cross member and also pulled the roof down slightly hence the the line of small holes in the roof above the b pillar where the previous owner had pulled it out, apart from that damage there was no other rust or rot on the car and for it's age it was in very good condition. After getting it home putting some fresh fuel and a coil on it I got it running for the first time in 15-16 years no smoke or rattles just a good little 1000cc with a seized clutch, I cut all the damage from the n/s to be able to see what panels I would need to buy to repair it to standard condition, I then bought a complete n/s panel, complete n/s inner and outer sill, drip rail, A panels, companion box closing panel, battery box and a few other bits that I can't remember at the moment, the car is complete apart from it needing 2 doors I have all the glass the interior trim and quite a few other bits and pieces that I have collected over the years.

There are some other panels that I cant remember at the moment but the bill from Somerford came to over £650. Although the car is in need of major surgery it is not past the point of being put to the big melting pot just yet! there is quiet a lot of surface rust that has appeared whilst it has been in storage but in general it is still worth saving.
Sorry for the long winded ramble I'm only trying to be as honest as I can, the car is situated in Strichen in the very north east of Scotland 35 miles north of Aberdeen post code AB43 6SQ please check this out so you know where the car is situated, it will need to be collected and trailered away as it can't be driven, it has no tax or mot either you will need a large trailer/van to be able to collect all the bits and pieces that will go with the sale. I paid £800 for the car some 5 years ago thinking it would be a good investment for me and it would be a car that I could pass on to my son when he started to lean to drive but sadly it has come time to sell it as I have admitted defeat and will not be able to complete this restoration.
