I have been rebuilding a Mini here in Surrey for the past year or so and I am coming close to completion.  The car has been previously owned by other enthusiasts and arrived by trailer to my home in an incomplete state.  I have re-registered the car which is a 71 model that now has a whole range of expensive new components.

I would like to make contact with other informed Mini owners and enthusiasts in order that I might discuss technical issues and chew on problems I have.  I am elderly but sprightly and have worked on sporty cars for many years.  I look forward to future discussions.

I now have a problem trying to bleed the clutch,  I fitted a new master cylinder. I fitted new rubbers in the slave.  I fitted a new up-rated clutch arm.  Fluid will not even run from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder by gravity when the nipple is open.  Don'r usually have such problems.  Any ideas chaps pl?

Pressure bleed the system with something like an easy bleed. The clutch also isn't like brakes as the pipe comes out the top so in theory the resvevoir isn't the highest point.
