Hi, I'm replacing a fuel tank filler neck grommet on my '95 SPI.  (the tank is out for an unrelated job and the current grommet is perished.)  I have bought a replacement from one of the main spares suppliers but the external diameter of the grommet (i.e. the bit that sits on the outside of the panel) is about 10mm less the original.  As a result it barely sits on the panel and leaves an untidy area around it which was covered by the original grommet.  The other dimensions (e.g. internal flange of grommet and internal diameter of hole) are ok.  The item I ordered was for a '91 on model.  Any chance I have been sent the wrong one, or is this perhaps down to product variability from OEM?
