just been looking at cams on minispares and I have been confused by what they say about the spi and mpi cams not being interchangeable and also that they state the spi upgrade cams are "the only one's you'll get away with without changing the ECU." that diddnt seem to add up? why do the mpi ones not have that in their write up? why would the cam hit the 90 bhp limit with the MAPPS without other things?

SPi has dizzy drive

 

Mpi have the 'lobes' for a cam sensor 

 

edit - below - not a scatter cam - but showing lobes for mpi

Ahh, I see now, did say I was probably being daft!    - p.s - guess what cams I had open next to me when I wrote the hyperlink... haha, corrected it now!
