Then it's a case of sorting out your speedo as it will read wrong, about 10 to 15% over if I remember right.
Has anyone tried the new 10" wheels from Minispeed yet, they fit over the 8.4" disks with no mods.

The offset looks pants to me, i think thats how they manage to get them to fit over the 8.4s
thanks
Are you fitting these wheels to the 77 car? Does it have 8.4 discs fitted? that car originaly would have had drums all round?

Ok iv read the only other post on this
Oh there's a lot more than 1, this is very commonly asked.
In your case all you need is new callipers and discs. The best option would be normal discs turned down to 7.9" and alloy callipers to suit from Mini Sport, Mini Spares or KAD. If you go for Cooper S callipers and discs then you will also need to change the drive flanges and hope that your hub uprights are compatible with them.
Oh yeah and I've been to Mini Speed (and survived) and seen these steel look alloys. They have enormous spacers built into them, didn't have a rule with me but it looks to be about 1 1/4". Offset = massive as Sprocket says. With the 1" increase in track from the disc setup as well these will probably be almost completely outside the bodywork.

Just had a peek at the link to the 10" alloys, they do have a horrendous offset dont they. Wonder how bad the bump steer is?
